National History Day is an academic organization that allows students from 6th grade thru 12th grade an opportunity to develop historical inquiry and research skills. It also provides educators resources and training to enhance classroom teaching.
The staff at the Arizona State Archives have enjoyed working with NHD in Arizona for the last nine years. We will miss working on the day to day activities involved with running the program. We welcome, and encourage, students to continue to create NHD projects with an Arizona topic. Contact any member of the Arizona State Archives staff for help with your Arizona related research.
The Arizona Historical Society has generously agreed to organize NHD in Arizona. Please visit their webpage.
