Human Monster -- DVD67
A series of strange deaths takes place in London. All are accidents but the victims are single men with no family and all have a link to a life insurance company run by the mysterious Dr. Orloff (Bela Lugosi). Scotland Yard assigns D.I. Larry Holt (Hugh Williams) to the case and he receives help from the daughter of one of the victims. This fine B movie mystery demonstrates Lugosi's outstanding acting talent. 1939


Kennel Murder Case -- DVD262
On show days, high society meets at the Long Island Kennel Club to see and be seen. But this veneer of civility is craked when a prominent member of the club is found dead -- in a room locked from the inside, with a gun in his limp hand. The police assume suicide. William Powell starts as the debonair super-sleuth Philo Vance. 1933.

Lady Vanishes -- DVD54
When a woman mysteriously vanishes during a train ride, her very existence is questioned. This twisting film saga is an early Alfred Hitchcock masterpiece. Margaret Lockwood, Michael Redgrave and Dame May Whitty star. Still looking fresh and funny, the witty dialogue throughout and excellent cast make this a true pleasure to experience. 1939

Author Holly Martins (Joseph Cotton) searches for his friend (Orson Welles) in post-war Vienna. Holly's suspicions of foul play lead him into murkier depths and more trouble than he ever imagined. Written by Graham Greene and directed by Carol Reed. 1949
