CATCH THE READING BUG!

reading bugThe Arizona State Braille and Talking Book Library is offering two Summer Reading Programs for our youth patrons.  The programs run through August 15, 2008.

Catch the Reading Bug is for preschoolers through 6th grade.  Metamorphosis @ Your Library is for teen patrons.  Readers in each club will earn a prize for every three books they read!

If you would like your child to join the Summer Reading Club, complete the Summer Reading Club Registration Form and mail it (Postage Free) to the Talking Book Library.

To request books, contact Youth Librarian John Berkeland (602-255-5578, Toll-Free 1-800-255-5578), or John Berkeland.

Reading Club members can read recorded books or Braille books. When your child finishes reading a book – or books – call or e-mail John.

Research shows that reading throughout the summer helps students retain the skills and academic progress they’ve achieved during the school year.

If you have any questions or need more information, please call or e-mail John and ask.
