Library Practitioner Certification
The Western Council of State Libraries created a certification program that began in January 2007 and was discontinued as of April 1, 2009, by vote of the Western Council of State Libraries. The Arizona State Library is currently in the process of developing a Library Practitioner Certification program, using the competencies established by Western Council.
