The mission of the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) is to distribute federal agency publications and act as an authoritative source for these publications. This American Battle Monuments Commission site has databases listing those interred at the American World War I and World War II cemeteries overseas and those killed worldwide during the Korean War. This U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service site allows searchable access to the National Digital Library collection of public domain still photographs of wildlife, plants, National Wildlife Refuges and other scenic images. - Land Office Records
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s General Land Office (GLO) site contains records of two million land patents and provides access to a database of federal land conveyance records for thirty-two states issued between 1820 and 1908. This does not include the original thirteen colonies, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas and Hawaii.
