Law Collection


law books and gavel The Law Collection is the primary legal resource for the Legislature, courts and Arizona state agencies with historical collections of Arizona's legislative bills, journals, session laws, statutes, codes, judicial rules and Attorney General opinions. A major strength of this collection is the gathering of statutes and decisions from all states of the United States. Law titles and subjects may be located in the Library and Archives' online catalog. Arizona
The collection includes current and historical annotated codes, official statutes, regulations and bills as well as session laws, attorney general's opinions, court cases and treatises. This collection is located on the 3nd Floor.

Other States
This collection includes statutes and official court cases.

Federal Legal
This collection includes statutes, regulations, court cases and digests. These materials are located on the 2nd Floor, the 2nd Floor Mezzanine and on the 3rd Floor. Select one of following to determine the location of a specific resource:

Foreign
Canadian statutes and cases and selected materials for Mexico can be found in this collection. Please ask at the Law Reference Desk.

Legal Periodicals
This collection of legal periodicals includes general law reviews published by law schools in the state and throughout the country. Most titles are journals available in print, but some are on microfiche. The Current Law Index and Index to Legal Periodocals & Books can be found on the 2nd floor. Legal periodicals in print are located on the 3rd Floor - Mezzanine. Legal periodicals on microfiche must be retrieved from closed stacks. Please ask at the Law Reference Desk. The Law Collection is located in the Law and Research Library in the 1938 Addition to Arizona's Capitol and is available during the Library's business hours. The Reference Desk is located on the third floor in Suite 300. The mailing address is:
