Arizona Centennial Stamp
The Arizona Capitol Museum introduces its second new exhibit in honor of the Arizona Centennial!

Entitled Words from the West: Arizona Stories and Stamps, this exhibit spans the Postal History of Arizona through Native petroglyphs and letters from the Spanish Colonies to the brand new Arizona Stamp!

Words from the West Exhibit

The exhibit features a timeline of Arizona history expressed through commerative stamps issued by the United States Postal Service. The Postal History Foundation in Tucson, AZ provided the artifacts, images, and historical information for the exhibit.

Arizona Stamp Collections

The Phoenix Stamp Club was on hand to display interesting examples from members' collections and share the enthusiasm for stamp collecting.


Sec. of State Ken Bennett

The Arizona Capitol Museum is part of the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records, a division of the Arizona Secretary of State. Secretary Ken Bennett was one of the featured speakers, and he remained to greet the exhibits's first visitors.
